The Kids’ Castle is the babysitting facility in The Natatorium located just east of the interactive tree area. It is for children, ages 1-9. Please, no crawling children. We ask that you utilize the Kids' Castle once the child is walking. Babysitting is limited to a maximum stay of two hours per child. Babysitting services in the Kids’ Castle are free for children of annual members (or active annual member in the household age 18 and over). Children of the annual member will be issued a “Kids’ Castle” ID card, which the parent will use for free admission to the Kids’ Castle. Proof of guardianship/age must be presented when the card is issued. Babysitting services are also free for children who have paid an entrance fee to the Natatorium. The parent of the child paying must request a receipt for the child that will be given to the Kid’s Castle staff as proof of admission payment.
Children who do not pay a fee to enter the building and are joining a daily or monthly user will pay a $4 fee for babysitting. Children wishing to use other parts of the building, for example the Aquatics Center, are required to pay the daily rate. This also applies to children whose parents/guardians are annual members, but the child is not an annual member (day rates will apply).
Please note that space in the Castle is limited. Therefore, all children are admitted on a first come/first serve basis, with a maximum of 30 children at any single time.
The Natatorium offers Kids’ Castle Birthday parties! Call 330-971-8087 for details.
Parent/Guardian Safety Protocols
Please indicate your intended workout location, so we can reach you if your child needs you. If your child is inconsolable after a reasonable length of time, you will be paged. We request that the parent/guardian dropping off the child leave a picture ID with our staff. This can be your Natatorium pass or a driver’s license.
For safety reasons, we request that all parents remain in the building while their child is playing in the Kids’ Castle. For safety reasons, we request to have the same parent/guardian who drops off the child, pick up the child. If other arrangements need to be made, please inform the staff at the time of sign in.
Disciplinary concerns will be brought to the attention of the parents and the Facility Director in a written form. Disciplinary concerns include, but are not limited to aggressive behavior, damage to property, or disruptive behavior. If these behaviors occur, the Director will advise the parents on the best course of action pertinent to using the Kids' Castle.

Visit Time Limit
Up to 2 hours
Personal items are acceptable. We, however, discourage this, if possible. We ask that you label items with a permanent marker, so we can be sure we don’t lose your child’s possessions. Due to space constraints, please leave your stroller parked outside the Kids’ Castle. Also due to space constraints, only the child’s personal belongings may be kept in the Kids’ Castle.
On your first visit, please provide proof of age via the child’s birth certificate or a hospital record. If you have already brought one in to the Welcome Desk, we would be happy to check that for you.
Emergency Medical Form
To better care for your child, an emergency medical form must be filled out prior to leaving your child in the Kids’ Castle. These forms can be picked up at any time at the Welcome Desk, or in the Kids’ Castle.
Due to allergies, please do not bring any food or beverages into the Kids’ Castle.
Health and Illness
If needed, our staff will change your child’s diaper or will assist your child in the restroom. Please be sure to indicate your permission on the registration form. You will need to provide your own diapers and cleaning wipes. If your child has shown signs of illness that day, please do not bring him/her to the castle.
