WHO

Grades K-12; Participants must be 5 by 1/27/2021

WHAT

Join us on Wednesdays during the school year for homeschool open gym and swim! The program will be a 6 week session with land fitness the first hour and a 40 minute swim lesson to follow. Participants will practice skills in group sports, fitness classes, health and nutrition, followed by swim lessons.  We have the fitness curriculum you’re looking for! Join our team of American Red Cross certified Life Guards and Water Safety Instructors to take your child's swimming skills to the next level.

WHEN

Wednesdays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (arrive around 9:45). FREE TRIAL DAY-Wednesday, January 27th. Stop and see what it's all about at no charge. Enjoy an hour of land fitness and wear/bring your suits for an hour of splash around  fun in the state-of-the-art Aquatics Center.  Groups will begin in the Erie Rm. All Aquatics age rules must be followed.

NEW! Registration week is January 25-January 30, 2021 ONLINE or in person.  We highly recommend that you sign up early to reserve your spot!

       First official class begins Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 10:00am - 12:00 noon. Last class will be March 10, 2021

HOW MUCH

Registration for this program will be the week of January 25th ONLINE or in person.  Those participating in the free trial day may join January 27th! Drop in fees do not apply. Limited Spots!

We are no longer accepting partial payments for this program. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Residents/Annual Members $48

Non-residents $64.

Parents/Guardians with active monthly and annual passes may also use facility during this time. At this time due to covid 19 restrictions we ask famliles limit loitering in common areas during class - kids may be dropped off.  Parents with young kids, however, are welcome to stay and help with transitions.

SWIM LESSON INFORMATION

Following the first hour of land fitness program, participants will change and head to the pool for their 40 minute swim lesson. 

Beginning at 11:15 am, the swim lesson session will start (groups may slightly stagger).  Participants may wear their suits under their clothes or change in the locker rooms (15 minute change time provided).

**Parents must be in the Aquatics Center by 11:45am after each swim lesson for prompt pick up.

HOW DO I ENROLL?

Enroll during the registration week. Parents/guardians will enroll their child based on swim skill/level. While enrollment groups are designed on swim skills, participants will also have one hour of land fitness in groups based on age.

        Level Red - Intro;    Level White - Intermediate;    Level Blue - Advanced

For assistance on levels, refer to the swim lesson guide or call Kathy Burt at 330-971-8398. Participants will need to be in suits and ready to enter the pool at their assigned time on those Wednesdays.

All participants and guests must wear a mask at all times unless actively exercising.  This includes all lobby spaces, locker rooms, and transitioning from one section of the facility to another.

Visitor Notice

A valid government issued photo ID (i.e. Driver's License, Military ID, Passport, State Issued ID) for anyone 16 years of age and older is required for single entry visits, monthly passes and annual memberships.
