Dear Natatorium Member,

Welcome Back!  I am excited to announce that our fitness facility will be opening Tuesday, May 26th!  The Natatorium staff is working hard to prepare and adapt to the new mandates provided by Governor DeWine, as your safety is the utmost importance to us.  I can assure you that facility obligations as it pertains to social distancing, cleanliness and sanitizing remain a top priority upon your return.  Opening a facility of this size and recalling staff is a massive undertaking, therefore we thank you in advance for understanding our phased in approach as we move forward.  Below please find a description of Phase 1 defining sections of the facility coming online (or available for use) first, revised hours of operation, and age limits as we re-open.

PHASE 1

6 foot social distancing is required at all times among members, guests and employees.

On Tuesday, May 26th the following areas will be OPEN:

Ages 16 and over only

Upper Fitness - All cardio selections offered, the track lanes 1 and 4, equipment around the track, and fitness circuit.

Please note- cardio pieces will be alternated between off and on to accommodate social distancing, however we've relocated many pieces to accommodate as many users as possible.

Lower Fitness - Life Fitness strength equipment, Hammer Strength, and dumbbells.

Please note, the fitness equipment has been measured seat to seat (in all directions) to ensure a minimum of 6 foot social distancing; some equipment has been relocated to the gymnasium or taken offline.  Signs will be provided to assist you in finding your favorite piece.

Due to high contact sports still restricted, the gymnasium has been re-purposed to accommodate fitness equipment over flow on the east side. All rowers, cyclops bikes and other cardio overflow is located on the west side.  The stretching area once in upper fitness has been relocated on the north-east court. Please bring your own mat (BYOM).

Locker Rooms and Rest Rooms (in corridors mentioned)- These will all be available to the customer, however showers will NOT be available.  Lockers will be marked as to which ones are available, therefore those not marked may not be used. Patrons are encouraged to arrive dressed for work out, limit belongings and clean up at home. Drinking fountains will be offline (BYOW) or water may be purchased.

On Tuesday, June 2nd the following areas will be OPEN:

Ages 16 and over

Aquatics Center - Pools are available for fitness use only at this time. Fitness swimmers will enjoy one person per lane and a sign up sheet will be staffed for lane usage.  Current Channel and Spa/Hot Tub directions will be announced. Chairs on the pool deck will be greatly reduced to avoid congregating. Saunas will be offline. 6 foot social distancing is still required in the water.

On Monday, June 8th  land group fitness classes will resume. A modifed schedule will be available soon!

Modified Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday 5:30am-9:00pm; Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm; and Sunday 9:00am-7:00pm - Ages 16 and over at this time. High risk population courtesy hour 1:00p-2:00p daily.

Finally, our current cleaning and disinfecting protocols have been elevated to an even higher standard, using all employees in the facility regulating areas continuously with a  focus on high touch areas and all surfaces.  Thank you in advance for using the GOJO Purell gym wipe system we have in place after each use of equipment.

The facility will look different upon entry with signage and directional arrows guiding you along.  Employees will wear masks and have temperatures checked upon arrival. Check in at the podium will be a "self serve" station for swiping in.  It is required each customer sanitize your hands with GOJO Purell wipes at this self serve station before entering.  We kindly ask our members do their part and follow all guidelines so we can continue to serve you and your fitness needs!  All of our new protocols are designed to comply with public health orders.  Your cooperation allows us to remain open and in compliance with the State of Ohio and Summit County Public Health. Please understand, these guidelines are subject to change based on operating procedures or public health requirements.

Further communication will follow regarding Group Fitness, Kids' Castle babysitting, youth activities, facility hours, age limits and/or other sections currently offline the week of June 1st or sooner!  Please visit www.FallsNat.com "Reopening Plan" to review a detailed description of what is required by the Natatorium facility and the member/guest so we can be successful together.  We've missed you and look forward to seeing you soon!

Kind Regards,
